 Bayliner Bodega Windows.

I have a 1978 Bayliner Bodega 4050, which I believe was their flag ship. I had the missfortune of breaking two side windows out. I am looking for the weather strip assy. that goes between the glass on the aft side windows in the salon, I went to a window fabricator who sent me to automotive, to marine. No one seems to have an idea where to get one fabricated or replaced.---I have been unable to get all the broken glass out of the channel that goes on the window.---Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Chuck Maddox

 Re: Bayliner Bodega Windows. (chuckmddx)

chuck, i have a 77 bodega. there is an 82 bodega in des moines that just had window tracks installed. the installer's name is donovan and has a company named mr chip's. he says he's leaving to florida really soon for the winter months. he told me he got the tracks at all city glass in tacoma. ask for oliver. i don't know if they can get glass. you might ask midday plexiglass in redmond also.
also, donovan buffed out the water stains on the glass using 3m rubbing compound. looks great along with the mat black finish on the frames.
good luck,
rich
